PROFESSIONALS
Pamela F. Schmitt, CFA Prior to joining RiverPoint, Pam was a
Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Fifth Third Asset Management
where she was responsible for the investment relationships of some of the
firm’s largest institutional clients.
She worked extensively with the clients and their consultants on all
investment-related matters, conducted investment reviews, and was involved in
setting portfolio strategies to most effectively meet client objectives. Previously, Pam was a Vice President and
Portfolio Manager at Commerce Bancshares in St. Louis, where she managed
investment portfolios for both institutional and high net worth clients, and
served as the firm’s financial-stock analyst for both the Value and
Core equity strategies. Pam spent 10
years at Commerce, working in corporate credit analysis, mergers and
acquisitions, and asset-liability management prior to becoming a portfolio
manager. Pam received a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration Degree with a minor in Japanese studies from
Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
She received an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri –
St. Louis. She is a member of the CFA
Institute as well as the CFA Society of Cincinnati, and serves as a Trustee
on the Board of the Cincinnati Ballet.
Previously, she served as the VP-Finance for the charter year of the
Junior Service League of Iowa City, Iowa, has been active in Big Brothers Big
Sisters, and has coordinated fundraising events for the United Way.
